Frontline Support
Serving Veterans and First Responders through opportunity and service.
Our Mission
Veterans and first responders often face mental and physical limitations following service to their communities. For many who have served their communities 30-50% exhibit PTSD symptoms, which could lead to isolation and a need for community.
Frontline Hives is a program designed to open the world of beekeeping to Veterans and First Responders. Beekeeping has recently been recognized by the VA as an effective non-chemical therapy for those suffering from PTSD.
Frontline Support is designed to help serve this mission; whether that is through fundraising or utilizing volunteer hours at local organizations. helps veterans and first responders through fundraising, direct service, and community-led projects that improve quality of life.
Chance's Story
Looking back into my family, my Great Grandfather Forrest Medaris, who I would later be named after, served our country in World War II. During his time fighting for our country, he was deployed in both Nagasaki and Hiroshima following the bombing that led to the end of the war. Throughout his time there, he and his team were exposed to a large amount of nuclear radiation. Following his retirement, he would live on for a couple of years before passing away due to prolonged radiation exposure. This shows that the government and every country that he risked his life to serve and protect looked past him in his time after deployment, where they could’ve provided him support or money that he could use to help himself through treatments and medicine that would help prolong the time he had with our family before his passing. To this day, I still wish I had the honor to meet and hearing the stories that he had. Therefore, we decided to start this non-profit organization to help other veterans to make sure they aren’t overlooked by our country and have proper access to support that allows them to spend more time with their families and feel respected by our society and country as a whole.
